THE WINGED FAIRY

In 1917 photographs surfaced that were believed to be evidence of real life fairies. The Cottingley photographs sparked much debate and public interest. Whilst the photographs weren’t proven to be genuine, the myth and legend of fairies remained prevalent and enjoyed by many. 

Fairy meaning:

“These playful magical creatures have long been depicted in myths, fairytales and folklore. If you can find one, usually dancing in their favourite garden and woodland spots, they may just grant you a wish! They act as mediators between plants, animals, and the various elements of nature.”

This fairy inspired pendant is reminiscent of this wonderful era from the 1910s to the art deco era.
