Antique Black & Gold Metallic Brocade Ribbon Circa 1920s. Very likely French origin made with a mechanical loom. The beautiful fan and geometric pattern repeats in section with bars inbetween. It is much lighter to the touch than a traditionally stiff Victorian brocade meaning it can be threaded through a good sized bail with ease.

• Use: Perfect for use with lockets or slide on buckles. Not for use with pronged buckles to avoid large holes being made. Pendant choice to be slided on slowly to avoid threads tearing.
• Care: This ribbon is playfully twisted and this has to remain a part of her character as the metallic threads aren’t suitable for steaming. 
• Amount: Enough for one models neck, tied in a bow on the back
• Thickness: 1.2” / 30mm 
• Length: 26” / 660mm length
